About The Graceful Grind
The main goal of this site is to motivate and inspire others to take their lives back by offering advice from someone who has been there. The internet may have a wealth of “inspirational knowledge”, but experience is the best teacher. That’s where I come in! My content is based on my own lived experiences and the experiences of others I have met.
The Graceful Grind’s main focus is recovery from mental illness and personal limitations, but you will also find information about home life, creative hobbies, love and relationships and more!
I am a free spirited writer who infuses my work with creativity, insight and personal anecdotes. My background stems from my personal and professional experiences with Mental Illness and disabilities. I’ve been on both sides of the field in Mental Health over the past 10 years— both as a client and a Certified Peer Support Specialist. I take pride in educating, inspiring and motivating others to live their lives to the fullest.
When I’m not writing I’m being a mom and girlfriend. My son is the greatest gift life has given me, and he has already taught me so much about myself. I turned my life around when I got pregnant and I haven’t looked back since. I also have a wonderful boyfriend and dog who make up the rest of our family. I have spent the last few years learning a lot about home life, parenting and love and relationships and this experience is also infused into my writing.
